Event Rentals

Science Gallery Atlanta’s purpose is to create multi-dimensional experiences that foster a dynamic new model for community engagement focused on imagination, innovation, and participation. SGA serves as a unique community learning center, bringing complex global issues to the forefront of conversation among our community and transitional-aged youth (15-30-year-olds) through exhibits and programs at the intersection of art and science.

The goal of our rental program is to provide SGA supporters and community members with a space to engage in meaningful discourse. All revenues generated through the rental program are reinvested into SGA to support and expand its mission. of creating multi-dimensional experiences that foster community engagement.

Rental rates vary depending on the day and time of the event, event size, and staffing needs. All room rentals include set up and breakdown of the event as well as AV support as needed with on-site staffing.

  • Our Workshop Space is a versatile collaboration space ideal for small group meetings and creative sessions. The space offers a semi-private experience and features a large screen, and a projector for presentations (please note: a laptop is not provided). It's an inviting environment perfect for brainstorming, discussions, and team-building activities.

    Up to 10 six foot tables provided by SGA.

  • Our In Gallery Event Space is perfect for hosting lectures, presentations, and other speaking engagements. It features a stage for presenters, a lectern or table for panels, seating for up to 100 attendees, and minimum AV equipment, including three microphones and two speakers. This setup provides a professional and engaging environment for delivering impactful content and connecting with your audience.

    Room Arrangements and Capacity:

    • Theatre - up to 110 (chairs provided by SGA)

    • Reception Style – 80 (chairs and 10 high boys and 6 foot tables provided by SGA)

  • Located in historic Pullman Yards, the Science Gallery Warehouse provides a unique backdrop for a diverse range of events, including meetings, cocktail hours, conferences, and lectures. Our versatile warehouse space is 9000 square feet and can accommodate events with up to 200 guests.

    Rental fee:
    $4000 per day with half day rates available.

Rental Rates and Packages

All room rentals include set up and breakdown of the event and general event support with one on-site staff member.

Events During Gallery Hours:

SGA business hours are Wednesday – Saturday from 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday from 12 pm – 6 pm.

Events Outside of Gallery Hours:

This includes events hosted on Monday and Tuesday, before 11 am, or after 7 pm. Events that begin before closing but end after 7 pm will be subject to these rates.  All events must end by 9:00 pm and clean-up completed by 10 pm.

Additional Services:

  • Guided Exhibition Tour Conducted by a Mediator – $30 /hour per mediator

    • 1 mediator per 20 guests

  • Mediators for Guest Management – $30 /hour per mediator

  • Catering – Not provided by SGA however SGA will provide a list of preferred caterers

  • Additional AV options may be made available or ordered through a partner.

  • Black linens may be provided, additional fees may apply.

Below are some vendors that we have worked with and loved. These businesses are effective, professional and best of all are familiar with our spaces.

Alcohol is permitted and must be provided by the event sponsor. There are no fees associated with alcohol, but the caterer must provide all bartending services and the bartender must be licensed or insured.
