Justice Coffee Company (2023)
Phyllis Johnson, Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity Kennesaw, GA
How much would you be willing to pay for a cup of coffee? How much do you know about the farmers that grow your coffee? How much do you know about the baristas that serve your coffee?
Justice Coffee Company is an economic justice installation that explores the value chain of coffee from points of origin to points of sale, and its impact on global and local communities.
Special thanks to Dr. Peter Roberts for additional project consultation.
Throughout the JUSTICE exhibition season, the Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity will curate public programming at the Justice Coffee Company that highlights people and perspectives along the coffee industry value chain, from points of origin to points of sale.
