As Science Gallery Atlanta gets ready to open it doors in Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood, we want to use this moment to begin a dialogue about how the arts and sciences can help us better understand community narratives. We invite you to join a public discussion with Dr. Emily Burchfield, artist/designer Elizabeth Jarrett, and Science Gallery Atlanta Mediators about leveraging data science to better understand community demographics, culture, food access, transit, gentrification, property access, and more. 

Burchfield and Jarrett most recently collaborated as part of the Emory Arts & Social Justice Fellowship and will be discussing some portions of that experience during this public talk.
