Artist Market Policies and Procedures
Vendors must be selling handmade goods.
Multilevel marketing, wholesale, and bulk resale are not allowed.
Curated vintage goods and plants are welcome.
Food vendors are welcome but must provide proof of permit.
The vendor fee is $50 for a 10’x10’ area.
Vendor fees are due two weeks prior to the event.
There will be no refunds after the due date.
Science Gallery Atlanta artist markets are held indoors and are rain-or-shine events.
In the event of an emergency weather situation, the event organizer will reach out to vendors as soon as possible with instructions.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, and other items deemed necessary.
Tents are not required due to the event being indoors.
Access to electricity is not guaranteed.
Please let the event organizers know ASAP if you would like access to power. You must provide your own extension cord.
Gas generators are not allowed.
Spaces are assigned at check-in. Do not begin set up without checking in.
Vendors who arrive after the event starts will not be allowed to set up and will forfeit their vendor fee.
Vendors agree to be present for the entire event.
Vendors are responsible for all post-event clean-up of their spaces.
All personal items must be removed the day of the event.
Spaces should be free of trash after pack-up.
Food and Drink Guidelines
Vendors selling food, drink or other consumable goods must be properly permitted by the Georgia Department of Health or the Georgia Department of Agriculture
Please send a copy of any/all food licenses/permits to sciencegallery@emory.edu to complete your application.
Accepted permits:
Department of Agriculture “Cottage Food License”
Department of Health “Food Handler’s License”
Department of Agriculture “Food Sales Establishment License”
“Manufactured Goods” License
A SERVSafe certificate does NOT qualify.
Goods such as jams, cotton candy, tea, baked goods, or similar require a Cottage Foods License
Herbally infused treats (THCA, CBD, Delta-8, etc) are not permitted.
